Our Process
How We Review APKs
Every APK published on betterxcloud.org is installed and tested on real Android phones by our reviewer, Oliver Grant, before the download button goes live. We never list a build that we have not run ourselves.
During testing we work through the full install flow, check every permission the app requests, measure start-up and streaming performance, test controller and touch input, watch battery and data use, and confirm the headline features actually work as described.
Our Test Devices and Checks
When a new version appears, the same checks run again before the file on this site is updated. If a build fails a check — a broken install, a crashing feature, an unexpected permission — it is not published until the problem is understood.
